Greeting friends,
I want to let all of you know that KPFT will be kicking off our Summer Sizzle Fund Drive on Saturday, July 23rd and run through Sunday, July 31st. This means that "Howlin' The Blues" will have two Sundays that we'll be asking for your pledge of support. Those two Sundays are the 24th & 31st. If you are already a member in good standing, I'd like to say thank you for your support and hope you'll consider throwing a little extra something our way ... the station really needs it. If you are not a listener sponsor, I'd like to ask for your support. It's our hope that the blues programming we provide makes a difference in your lives and worthy of your financial support. Please consider making a secure online pay pal pledge through our website or calling in on one of the two dates mentioned above during our show (2-5 pm) The phone number to pledge central is (713) 526-5738. On behalf of all of us at KPFT, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude for allowing us into your homes each week.

Please tune in to "Howlin' the Blues" on 90.1 FM KPFT ( every Sunday from 2:00-5:00 pm (CST).  We pledge to bring you the best new blues releases from around the world and let you know what's going on in our local music scene. Ticket and CD giveaways have always proven to be popular along with our live in-studio interviews and performances, and we all agree that Baby Girl's comprehensive music calendar is a valuable resource and asset to our community.

If you happen to miss a show, you can always access the program through the KPFT archives. Simply go to the home page and click on "on demand". Look for "Howlin' the Blues" and you're there.
